The Big Top Traveling Circus and Magnificent Menagerie was the name of a traveling circus (and magnificent menagerie), owned and operated by Barnabas Rumbletoes. When T'Chuck, R'Oarc, Selene von Esper, and Screech Echo needed to be smuggle the last dragon discreetly into Farhold, they asked Ratma Ritmo how best to gain entry into the city. She suggested the Big Top to them, and gave them directions with how to find it. Since then, the party has ingratiated themselves into the circus, and joined their ranks. At this point, I think they might just stay with the circus, and live out the rest of their days as carnies. Why not?

The Big Top was gearing up to participate in the Battle of the Circuses, taking place in Farhold. They would practice during their travels.

Two factions of performers at the circus were known to be in a blood feud with each other: The Clowns and the Jugglers.

The actual physical make up of the circus is a matter of much contention. It's been described as a series of tents, a caravan of wagons, a train being pulled by animals. It's definitely mobile, so a combination of these ideas is probably correct. But the train thing seems unrealistic to me. It is made of a series of traveling... cars, or carts, or caravans, or wagons. It depends on which episode you're listing to. I've decided on the term "wagon" to describe the actual rolling units that the carnies sleep in and that lug the circus from town to town. And it's a "caravan" when their on the move. It's also been referred to as a Carnival, which is technically different than a circus, but I'm getting exhausted.
