Thaldin Emberbrew was the young son of Faelia Emberbrew. A sickly and weak little boy, Thaldin was the driving force behind Faelia's plot to harvest brain goo from the brains of the Myconid people of Fungarum. He was also prone to prophetic dreams, and would rise from his sleep and speak in a gravely voice, offering cryptic warnings to those around him. Thaldin himself was unable to understand these dreams, and they were likely given to him by a much more powerful force.
Recent Events[]
T'Chuck, R'Oarc, Selene von Esper, and Screech Echo traveled to Fungarum, to assist in finding whoever was killing off the Myconid. There, they met Thaldin, and learned of Faelia's murderous plot. They put a stop to it, and then took in Thaldin for themselves, swearing to find a cure for the boy that didn't involve killing innocent mushroom-folk.
Thaldin was brought back to Ratma Ritmo, in Mineford. She, however, was unable to ascertain what may be wrong, instead suggesting that the party take him to a nearby Drow city. While they were deliberating on this, Thaldin fell unconscious, and then suddenly shot up in bed, and warned Selene that her family was in grave danger. When he awoke, he didn't remember saying this, only barely remembering a dream he'd had, in which a boat full of bad people attacked Selene's home. Later that night, he had another dream, that a group of spider-people were coming to attack Mineford.
