Shedaklah (or The Slime Pits) was a zone in The Abyss that was known to be a horrific, gnarly slimey area. It was a mixture of slime and mushrooms, reflecting the war between two gods that swore domain over it. Juiblex (a big pile of slime), and Zuggtmoy, the Queen of Rot and Fungus (basically, a mushroom monster) were two Demon Lords, and the Slime Pits were a contested Zone between the two of them.
Recent Events[]
Ros informed The Tower of Grey that she was able to find the body of Ray in the Slime Pits of the Abyss, during her quest to find the missing Queen Aludra Wyrmsbane, Jaela, and Lady Adira Harper. Those three were also trapped somewhere in the Slime Pits, and so the Tower made it their mission to head there and rescue them.
