Prince Thom Harper was the eldest (and most favored) son of the late King Titus Harper and Queen Ashayara Dayne. More of a McGuffin, than a character, the young prince was kidnapped by his aunt, Adira Harper, around 1716-1717. This prompted his other aunt (half-aunt?) Rowan Grey and her friends to go on a mission to rescue him, which they eventually did.
He was the subject of a series of strange dreams had by Queen Aludra Wyrmsbane and Jaela, during which Bucky would change into Prince Thom Harper before being beheaded by Trant Thumble via Blood Drinker.
Prince Thom Harper is on the half-platinum piece in the Drunkeros currencysource.
Biography[]
Early life[]
First mentioned following the Five Year Gap, along with the rest of Titus' children, though it's established that he cared most for Thom, the eldest.
Later, Titus Harper died.
Thom attended the White Spire, studying under Watson Copperfield. At some point, he was asked to give a sort of oral report on the history of the Ätlän-tã Fælcons, his father's old adventuring team. He did so with the help of many people, including several members of the Fælcons.
Later, two of those members, Aludra Wyrmsbane and Jaela, had nightmares of Trant Thumble killing Bucky, who would morph into Prince Thom before dying.
Later still, when the Tower of Grey were trying to assemble the pieces of The God Killer, they were visited by Thom's mother, Queen Ashayara Dayne]]. She informed them that Thom had been kidnapped, and they immediately rushed out to Pelor's Hope to investigate. There, they found evidence that someone had shifted into Thom's bedroom from The Feywild, so that's where they went next to find him.
There, they found that Lolth had invaded the Feywild, after Adira Harper confined Melora in The Jade Pyramid. After freeing Melora, the party was informed that Thom Harper was actually in Elysium! So that's where they went next.
Elysium acted as a sort of afterlife for anyone's who'd died, and that included King Titus Harper. When the Tower of Grey did find Thom, he was spending time in Pelor's castle, with his late father. It was all very sweet, but eventually, the two had to say goodbye, and Thom was brought back to his mother in the Prime Material Plane.
Later, Adira is able to explain that she feared for Thom's safety, and believed that the entirety of Drunkeros was to be destroyed. As she was placed under a curse preventing her from explaining all of this, she decided to kidnap Thom, and brought him to Elysium to keep him safe.
