The Ordinato Theonitus (known colloquially as "The OT", or simply, "The Order") was a special order of powerful sorcerers created by Emperor Beauregard. They served a number of roles in the Empire, including policemen, bodyguards, peacekeepers, and upholders of the Empire's justice. Selene von Esper was one of the newer members of the order, under the jurisdiction by Master Caegin. Their headquarters, located in Farhold, was named "The Slab", due to it's cube-like shape with no windows, and only one entrance. Any members of the Order caught defecting were placed under arrest, and likely killed. Should they attempt to run and hide from the Order, their families would become targets as well
