Mitty is an Emancipist, the lowest level on the authority side. Mitty used to be a convict but got out somehow, and now she works as a maid in the governor's house. Mitty's oath is "I will never go back." She is played by Tim Lanning.
In Durance Episode 5, it is revealed that Mitty's crime was killing everyone in an orphanage with a hammer, chopping them up, and making the little bodies spell haikus. She just wants people to be nice. She also makes horrible tea and tries to get everyone to drink it.
