Backstory[]
Junpei Iori is a Githyanki Sha'ir whose mouth is bigger than his brain. His tendency to talk before he thinks has gotten the gang into more than a few scrapes that could have otherwise been avoided, but every so often his big talk means big gains for him and the rest of the crew (preferably just him, if he has anything to say about it). Junpei has acquired an impressive debt as well as an equally impressive wardrobe of stylish and magical clothing. He is terrified of cannibals, especially the ones that ate his left hand.
Junpei eventually left the party when they reached The Lost Island. Upon arriving he got his memories back and realized he had to help his people fight cannibals that were attacking them. He distributed his belongings to the party members and then sailed off into the Astral Sea with other Githyanki.

Junpei is well on his way to being a Pokemon master, having captured a Geodude and training it to speak and save his life. Junpei also has the best fashion sense of the party.
He can occasionally be heard chanting the songs of his people.
