Jimmy Skaags was a prisoner of Grull and the roommate of Skud Derringer. He claimed to be in with "The Baus", and helped Skud and friends get in his good graces. He said that he had been a prisoner in Grull for about 6 years. He killed his last roommate at the command of The Baus after said roommate read the note said Baus ordered him to deliver and not said read1.
When Skud made moves to kill The Baus, he convinced Jimmy, against Jimmy's wishes, to wait behind when Skud went in to talk to the Baus, under the guise of offering him some delicious beans. He did, but secretly followed Skud in, and locked the door behind him when Skud was fighting the Baus.
After Skud and Rowan Grey were dropped down into The Pit, Jimmy Skaags returned to his routine. Toby Treacletart and Lahni Caplain found him and questioned him about their whereabouts. Skaags revealed that they were in The Pit, and that their lives were in danger, since they were allies of Skud's.
