Grimshaw Shadowhoof was the Minotaur farrier for the town of Mineford. He loved to make shoes of all kinds, but this was frowned upon. He was only supposed to make Minotaur shoes, dammit! As punishment, Shadowhoof was banished to a hedge labyrinth, deep in a magma swamp. He resigned himself there, but continued indulging in his passion for making unique and awesome shoes.
Later, R'Oarc, T'Chuck, Selene von Esper, and Screech Echo were sent on a mission by Ratma Ritmo to venture into the labyrinth, find Grimshaw Shadowhoof, and bring him back to Mineford. The town was in desperate need of their farrier back. They did this, and were able to convince Shadowhoof to return to the town with them.
