With weird time travel bits flowing through our brains we were momentarily distracted from the fact that demons were trying to break into our world. Some realizations take time to settle in, but an army of demons lack a certain subtly that can be ignored. With our hearts focused on returning to our time, without destroying everything in the process, we race through the halls of House Vidalis in search of the possibly winged hell spawn. But, maybe searching for something so dark and powerful is not a great idea...
Story[]
Standing over the corpse of himself Thom the Dragonborn (and all of us really) ponder what the fuck just happened. Thom realizes that his memory chain goes right from being murdered by himself to waking up on a slab in Shadowspar Keep. It's super fucked up. A Thom clone finds them and tells them that the entire keep is being attacked by demons that are spawning from The Brazier of Worlds. The clone takes them to the brazier room, along the way we see that the Fall of House Vidalis is well underway. Things are on fire and demons are running rampant biting griffon's necks.
They arrive in the brazier room to see the Cleric of Orcus dead on the floor, presumably killed by his own demons. An enormous demon is about to come through the portal when Harper pulls out a strange device. He uses this device to close the portal and prevent more demons from coming through. Some of demons and Thom clones end up getting sucked into the closing portal. Thom the Dragonborn is super attracted to Harper's power and it pleases Aludra. Some demons are left though and the party must fight them.
So they do that. Initiatives happen and Jennifer actually lands some good hits. It's great. We end with the combat unfinished.
