Whoops! Lahni got Big.
Story[]
Long Story[]
Our good, big friend Lahni has succumbed to the influence of Orcus. Well, not really Orcus, so much as the embodiment and spirit of the very nature of chaos and evil itself, but hey, what can you do? Anyway, as Big Lahni deals with this internal struggle, her smaller friends, the Tower of Grey, deal with a more external one: Big Lahni. She's currently on something of a rampage, and they need to find a way to stop it. Ultimately, they decide to attempt to smack her out of it, cartoon style. What that means is, attacking her. And so they do.
Rowan sends out her Dancing Rapier, and shoots arrows, enhanced with Ensnaring Strike this pins her down. Toby attempts to keep himself and co. safe by surrounding them in a strong box (with murder holes, of course, for Rowan's arrows), and also creates the illusory scent of Egg Salad Sandwich, with which to weaken Lahni's resolve. And Skud? Well, whoooo boy. Skud decides to pull a card from his Deck of Many Things. And the card he draws allows him to triple all numbers associated with any spell. And so, he immediately casts Summon Lesser Demons.
216 Abyssal Chickens come screaming onto the battlefield! It's pure pandemonium, though it is slightly releived by the fact that they soon swarm up into a giant, chicken-shaped creature, that the chat names "Poultron". Lahni/Orcus/Chaos Incarnate begin to spar with this chicken monstrosity, as, internally, Lahni is dealing with a battle of her very own.
She attempts to reason with the entity, but it seems bent only on killing everyone and everything. She asks if it has a name, to no avail. She asks what else it wants, perhaps some Egg Salad Sandwiches? Nope, it just wants death. She is able to maintain control of it long enough to fight off the Poultron, which is good. Especially when the chickens turn around and fire a barrage of old, spicy, Abyssal eggs at her! She's able to deflect some of them, but not before eating a few. Perhaps this shock of eating these insidious eggs is what's finally able to allow her to control the choatic energy in full. Lahni shrinks, and returns to her normal, still pretty weird state. Oh, except for one, critical thing... Skud had cast Feeble Mind on her during the battle, so now, she feeble. Ultimate Smooth Brain energy. They take her to Clarence Scrimald to get healed, and Skud sadly gets rid of his chickens...
Short[]
Lahni big. She attempts to wrest control of her mind back from the Not-Orcus entity in her mind, as her friends attempt to calm her down by hitting her with sword and chicken. Many chickens, actually. In fact, 216 of them! They form into one giant Chicken Monstrosity, and Lahni fights it. She's Feeble Minded by Skud, and is eventually able to take back control, shrinking down to her normal state. Her mind is then healed by Clarence Scrimald.
