Duke Cromwell was the ruler over a vague area of land far to the west in Drunkeros. He for sure ruled over Ironcross, and was also protector of Still-Glenn, suggesting a greater "state" that he ruled over. He and the Cromwell family had ruled and kept the peace over the region for over 50 years. His army was successful at holding back the various villains and vile vultures that would attack out of the wildlands to the east. In addition, he was also known to hire adventurers for various jobs that required more finesse than the standard army. Some such of these adventurers were Anvon Whispermouse, Big Bo, Durian Brexleyshire, Luban Dola, and Ratma Ritmo.
