Dick Goodie, aka The Oriole was an orphan/vigilante hero traveling with The Big Top Traveling Circus and Magnificent Menagerie. Initially from the town of "Frostmount", Dick was among the many orphans who joined the Big Top on their travels. This was about 6 months before T'Chuck, R'Oarc, Selene von Esper, and Screech Echo joined the circus. His persona, The Oriole, was seen killing an evil Sea Hag around this time, though it's not clear if Dick was doing Oriole work before joining the circus.
When Screech Echo joined, and brought along his alter-ego, Beholder-doodle, Dick saw in him a kindred spirit. The two bonded over their shared love of vigilante justice. Since then, the two have been attempting to get the other to join them as their wards. Time will tell which one will cave first.
In Episode 120, the party left the circus, leaving Dick behind with it. However, a few days later, the circus arrived in Farhold, which is where the party had went to, as well. There, Dick joined the magical Resistance against the Empire, as one of Ratma Ritmo's "little birds". The party had also recently joined the Resistance, so Dick was able to catch up with them, and rejoin their adventures.
