Bercy Hamhands was an ex-Knucklebrawler Half-Orc who was supposed to take a fall but bet all the money on himself instead. The Darkblades were not fans of this and sent Niles Blackwater and the then un-named Ätlän-tã Fælcons after him. Hamhands had holed up at his mother's place but the party found him, beat him up, and tied hams to his hands. They then brought him to the Darkblades in exchange for 1500 gold pieces.

He later turned up in the prison-city of Grull as Lahni Caplain's cell-mate, having been there for a while. It is unknown how he arrived there, but he said that he "went on the run" after stealing the money. Whether this happened after being given to the Darkblades, or it's a retcon is unknown1.

He seemed to be cool with Lahni's attempts to escape the prisoner. He kept his mouth shut whenever she was up to something, even occasionally offering his assistance in her schemes.

He had kissed someone in prison.

He was rescued by Lahni and her friends after they killed the warden and escaped from Grull, and brought back to The Tower of Gray.

Bercy was brought along on many of the Tower's various missions, including to Galanthis to find Rowan Grey's father, King Theonjon Dayne. He continued to follow them to The Crossroads to find Rowan Grey's mother, River Grey.

Later, when Lahni Caplain was invited by Stymer Dunkan to join his business back in Grull, opening up an "Eggs R Us", she invited Bercy to come along with her, which he agreed to do.

A note: Bercy's reintroduction into the story is likely due to a recent post made by @bridgitconnell, who drew Bercy as extremely sexy. It set the internet ablaze, and was likely the cause of Bercy's triumphant return.
